Mark handed out Investment Club Tax Certificates. Mark also asked for agreement to continue with the arrangement for capital gains and tax returns - this was agreed Mark also showed us a letter from Barclays concerning share shenanigans with United Utilities. Basically they are returning money to shareholders. If you want this to be delayed you have to let them know. We decided to do nothing - that way we get the money sooner. We still have shares to the same value as before i.e. it's free money!

We discussed shutting the club down. There just isn't the enthusiasm for it any more. Bob, Rudi and Mark don't want to sell out just yet. Pablo and Cobbs want their money out and not to contribute. JP has stopped contributions until he gets a new job. Mark suggests taking a 6 month break, i.e. stopping contributions and not holding meetings.
JP suggests turning into an internet-based club. Anyone can still suggest shares to buy or sell and we will vote via email. Voting should be at least 4 people. We agreed to do this and try it for 6 months.
