5. Adjust buy/sell

Aberdeen Asset Management raise high sell to +30% of buy price.

GOG nearly sold today, up to 29% on 30% high sell. Change the high sell to Stop loss of 5% of today's price.

MCA change the high sell to Stop loss of 5% of today's price.

Wolseley change to high sell of 30% of buy price.

From now on we will set a high price of 20% at which point we put on a 5% stop loss. We will apply that to all current shares. we will still have a fixed 20% low sell price.

6. Paperwork

Pablo has taken his money out of the shareclub and withdrawn for the time being. Great sadness all round and nagging worry that *no-one* will do their homework.

7. Homework

Tim recommended Qinetiq, spun out of the MoD who are still 25% shareholder. R+D technology and advanced systems around the world. PE 19.1, divi 1.2%. 10bn MoD deal in the offing. 1SB 1B 1N. Share dropped 40% in last 6 months but on the way back up.

Tim recommended Cobham defence + commercial aerospace spun out of BAE and flight refuelling company. Avionics group flight operations and systems. Divi 2%, PE 21. Share price dipped over summer now growing again. 6SB 2B 3N.

Mark N recommended putting more money into RBS, as the graph is still steadily rising, divi 4% (good) and it's a safe bet.

Mark de H recommended the industrial metals sector, Brinkley Mining extracting uranium Iain the Congo. Share price risen 40% in a month.

Mark de H recommended SIG, provide 40,000 products to building industry mainly insulation. Out-performed FTSE over 5 years; imminent takeover by French company? Entrenched position in vital sector, products locally sourced and so cannot be undercut by Far East. Specialise in growth through acquisitions and mergers. Unknown PE, buy/sell.

Cobbs recommended Severn Trent, dropped 30% after selling Biffa (recycling). Always given good divi. Ripe for takeover? Several rumours? We sold them at 885. Dealers not keen??? Downgraded today by one broker?

John recommended Greene King brewery, make lots of popular real ales, Hungry Horse chain and others. Up 3% today. Graph rising steadily since July, profits steadily rising, £750M 2004. Divi about 2%.

8. Voting

We have £5700 to spend, we voted as follows:

£3000 - Greene King GNK

£2000 - Qinetiq QQ

£700 - Brinkley Mining

9. AOB

None.

10. Next Meeting

Friday 9th Feb at JP's house, game of cards after. We'll change this and have earlier meeting if we sell anything.
