1. Bank - sorted! John to pay cheques in this week. Members to set up standing order starting 5th Sept 2000. £50 first payment, £25 ppm therafter.

2. Dealer not quite sorted. Schwab want;
(i) Copy of Constitution - Mark to fax form to Bob for signing
(ii) DOBs filled in - Mark to get Bob's DOB
(iii) Cheque from club - Mark to send off with other details

3. I did my homework but the others made crap excuses. I brought info on Volex (looks good but price is high right now so we decided against). I also brought some info on other companies from an electronics trade rag, and all agreed Psion look good.

We want to split our initial investment over 3 companies, £500 each. Decide to buy £500 of Psion shares before next meeting. We'll discuss our other investments at that time.

Price of Psion today £8.20. We'll buy if it sticks below £10 by the time Mark is ready to buy. The max Psion has been in the last year is £13.00 so we sell if it exceeds that price. Psion is slightly volatile so despite what we said last time we think we should sell if it goes 20% below purchase price (we agreed 15% last time).

(ii) Hyder (Water Utility) share price dropped massively for various reasons but now climbing again. Seem to be making strategic investments in infrastructure which will pay off long-term?
